Super easy-super fast!
Boomer's Marinade~
My brother-in-love, John Boomer, has a couple 5-star restaurants in his professional-chef's resume. Years ago, at a family dinner, he served grilled steak & vegetables that was to die for. I had little hope that I could duplicate the result.
I was so wrong!
This marinade is so easy, and it works for all meat, poultry, fish, and any vegetable. Make extra veggies, cuz even the most avid meat and potatoes guys will scarf down your peppers and mushrooms!
Ingredients:
16oz bottle Newman's Own Balsalmic Vinegrette dressing (Low fat works fine, too, but DON'T substitute brands)
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (Low sodium or regular)
3 cloves garlic (I use powder when lazy)
1/4 tsp ground ginger
Directions:
~Marinate meat-poultry-fish-seafood-vegetables for minimally 30 minutes (to be safe, separate veggies from meat while marinating)
~Grill per preference
**Fast Forward 10+ years
A friend and I were chatting about marinades. She said she got a great one from the internet. Nearly 15 years ago, I'd posted this recipe to a Body For Life site. As it turned out, this recipe landed in her results for "10 Best Steak Marinades"!
